Fawad Khan has been in the news ever since he announced his Bollywood comeback. The Pakistani heartthrob, who has a huge fan following in India too, was recently asked in an interview if he is still in touch with his co-stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and director Karan Johar? PinkvillaThe Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor replied, “I keep in touch sometimes. We talk sometimes on chat and on phone so I am in touch and I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family and even with Karan and Shakun there is still a lot of love and respect so there is friendship and then there are some producer friends with whom we keep having gap periods and then we plan to meet somewhere so sometimes we talk, we keep in touch and we are still very cordial and still very friendly and there is no love lost.”
Let us tell you that Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut with Sonam Kapoor in the film Khoobsurat. He shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Fawad Khan acted in Shakun Batra’s Kapoor & Sons, which was produced by Dharma Productions.
Fawad Khan will be making his Bollywood comeback opposite Vaani Kapoor. The Hindi romantic-comedy will be directed by Aarti Bagdi. IANS quoted a trade source as saying, “Fawad Khan enjoys immense popularity internationally due to his popularity among South Asians. He has also been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The details of the project are still under wraps and everyone is tight-lipped about it.” The trade source further added, “The romantic comedy revolves around two broken people who meet fate and help each other, unknowingly falling in love.”
Fawad Khan will next be seen in the Barzakh series. He will be seen reuniting with his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed in this series. Pakistani heartthrobs Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed will be seen in lead roles in Netflix’s first Pakistan-themed original Jo Bache Hain Sang Samaye Lo. The series is an official adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq’s 2013 bestselling Urdu-language novel of the same name.
