In addition to them, several others have been elected to board officer positions, including Leslie Barber, Vice President (Chair, Membership Committee), Devon Franklin, Vice President (Chair, Equity & Inclusion Committee), Donna Gigliotti, Vice President/Treasurer (Chair, Finance Committee), Lynette Howell Taylor, Vice President (Chair, Awards Committee) and Howard A. Rodman, Vice President/Secretary (Chair, Governance Committee).

“I am thrilled to have Janet back for a third term as Academy president to continue our tremendous work of the last two years,” said Academy CEO Bill Kramer. “I am also very pleased to welcome this year’s incredible list of dedicated board officers. I look forward to collaborating with our officers and governors to advance the Academy’s mission, serve our global membership, celebrate the work of our international filmmaking community, ensure the Academy’s financial health and broaden our reach and influence within the industry,” Kramer added.
This is Yang’s sixth year as governor-at-large, while Franklin, Howell Taylor and Rodman were re-elected. Gigliotti has already served as an officer, though Barber is new to the position. Yang has been a member of the Producers Branch since 2002, and her credits include South Central, the joy Luck Club, The People vs. Larry Flint, Zero effect, liberator, Water Weight, High CrimesAnd On the moonWhich was nominated for an Oscar.

He also received an Emmy Award for his role in the HBO program Indictment: McMartin trialinformed of Diversity. According to DiversityBoard members are limited to a maximum term of 12 years, consisting of two three-year terms, consecutive or non-consecutive, followed by a two-year hiatus, after which they may return for two additional three-year terms. Officers have a maximum of four consecutive terms in any one office, each term lasting one year.
