A large number of Bollywood celebrities have supported India’s Operation Sindoor, which was done in response to the terrorist attack on Pahalgam. BN Tiwari, president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), has confirmed it for publication. According to the report, about 15 filmmakers and studios were filled in their application in the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (one of the associations that works towards the registration of the film title).

The trend in Bollywood is not new. The industry claims to show nationalist enthusiasm on the screen.

“Whenever there is a big national program, filmmakers call DIBS at the title. Even if no film will be made, this title is safe to be registered. Ashok Pandit told India today, “Yes, I have applied to register the title ‘Operation Sindoor’. “Everyone who has applied for the title, has been done after doing so after the incident. It does not mean that all of them will make a film, but registration gives them the option to see it ahead. I can recognize it very well with this subject. I know what this country is – we are fighting this fight as a victim for 30-35 years.

According to trade sources, Mahavir Jain’s company was the first to register the title in its name. Also, studios such as Ashok Pandit, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and T-Series and Zee Studios, allegedly applied for the same title for their possible films.

While preliminary reports suggested that Reliance Industries was also one of the claimants, he has issued a statement refuting the claim.

“Reliance Industries has no intention of trademarking operation Sindoor, a phrase now a part of national consciousness as an enthusiastic symbol of Indian bravery.

“GIO Studio, a unit of Reliance Industries, has withdrawn its trademark application, which was inadvertently filed without the authority by a junior person. Reliance Industries and all its stakeholders are incredibly proud of Operation Sindoor, which has come to the response to a Pakistan-regulatory terrorist attack in Pahgam.

The statement said, “Reliance stands perfectly in support of our government and armed forces in this fight against terrorism. ‘India First’ commitment to the motto is unwavering.”
