Julia Garner is set to play a young dancer who is on the verge of becoming a success but then troubling circumstances begin to arise around her, as seen in the first look of her film. Apartment 7A For Paramount+.
The film is a prequel to the 1968 horror classic Rosemary’s Baby, According to The Hollywood Reporter. The upcoming film is set in 1965 New York City and follows events taking place at the infamous Bramford Building before Rosemary (played by Mia Farrow) moves in there.
According to the streamer, Garner plays a young dancer named Terry Gionofrio who dreams of fame in New York. However, after she suffers a terrible injury, an elderly couple portrayed by Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally take her into their home in the building.
The official description of the film reads, “When fellow resident and influential Broadway producer (Jim Sturgess, across the Universe) gives her another chance at fame, and it seems all her dreams are finally coming true. However, after an evening she can’t quite remember, disturbing circumstances soon force her to reconsider the sacrifices she’s made for her career as she realizes something bad is living not just in Apartment 7A, but in Bramford as well.”

Other members of the film include Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosie McEwen and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. The film will stream on Paramount+ on September 27.
