The makers of director Anuraj Manohar’s much-awaited Malayalam film ‘Narivetha’ on Tuesday released the first look poster of the film to mark the birthday celebrations of lead actor Tovino Thomas.
Sharing the first look poster on his X timeline, Tovino Thomas wrote, “Either be the hunter or the hunted. the choice is yours. And this is where the hunt begins!!! Introducing the first look of #Nariweta. Grateful for everyone’s love and support on this special day.!!”
It can be recalled that recently the film’s unit had announced that they have completed the shooting of the film.
Tovino then shared details of his experience working on the film. The actor told that the shooting of the film had started in Kuttanad and in the first schedule the team shot in Kavalam, Pulinkunni and Changanassery, after which the team shot in the Wayanad region.
Tovino revealed that the entire shooting was completed over a period of 65 days.
Acknowledging that although the film required a lot of hard work, Tovino said that he enjoyed the entire time during the shoot due to being with a crew with whom he felt close.
Revealing that ‘Nariweta’ was a political drama, Tovino had said, ”I believe this is a topic that needs to be talked about and discussed boldly. I hope this will be a film that will make you enjoy it wholeheartedly in the theater and leave you thinking after leaving the theater.
Saying that he had an emotional journey with the character he played in ‘Nariweta’, Tovino said that he experienced the joys, happiness, crisis and pain of life with the character. “This is a film I was looking forward to in my acting career.”
‘Nariweta’ has raised huge expectations for many reasons. One such reason is that this will be popular Tamil film director Cheran’s acting debut in Malayalam.
The film, which is believed to be based on real events, also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu in an important role. Produced by Tipushan and Shias Hassan and written by Abin Joseph, the film has cinematography by Vijay and music by Jake Bejoy. The film is edited by Shamir Muhammad while art direction is by Bava and costume design is by Arun Manohar.
