National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun celebrated the 20th anniversary of his blockbuster film on Tuesday. Arya, The 2004 film was a major milestone in Arjun’s career after making his debut in Telugu cinema in 2003. Gangotri,
“Twenty years old Arya, It’s not just a movie… it’s a moment in time that changed the course of my life. “Forever grateful,” the 42-year-old star wrote in a post on social media platform X.
Arya, in which Arjun played the lead role, a free-spirited man who falls in love with a girl named Geeta, marking the directorial debut of popular filmmaker Sukumar. The actor and filmmaker later collaborated Arya 2The 2009 follow-up film also starred Kajal Aggarwal and Navdeep.
After Arya Movies, Arjun and Sukumar reunite for 2021 blockbuster Pushpa 1: Rise, which became one of the biggest money-spinners of the year with earnings of over Rs 350 crore. The film depicts the rise of a low-paid laborer (played by Arjun) in a smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam hills of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Currently both are being awaited Pushpa 2: Rules. The pan-India film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, is currently scheduled to release on August 15.
