About the film

The film had to face weeks of controversies before its release. Madock Films, the production house behind the film, initially planned to release a dramatic release on prime video on 16 May and the premiere, citing security sanctions after Operation Sindoor.
The decision made a legal quarrel, in which multiplex giant Pavrinox challenged the move in court. Eventually, an agreement was signed between Pvrinox, Maddock films and Amazon MGM Studios, which released the dramatic Forgive On 23 May.

The film’s ABP Live Review wrote, “Rajkumar Rao is well, a person caught in a time loop depicted with impressive emotional depth and comic timing. While he is played relative, every person has still felt fresh.
Seema Pahwa and Raghubir Yadav are fantastic in their supporting roles. Zakir Hussain, Sanjay Mishra (in one role who were entitled to more screen time), Pragati Mishra, and Ishtiaq Khan also shine – especially mine, whose comic timing is present. ,
