Former Bad Boy Records rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow has slammed Sean “Diddy” Combs for ruining his life.

Former Bad Boy Records rapper Jamal ‘Shine’ Barrow has accused Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of ruining his life. Barrow also accused Diddy of making him “guilty” for the 1999 New York nightclub shooting.

According to the New York Post, when asked about Diddy’s arrest, Barrow said, “He sent me to jail.” Barrow is now a politician in his native Belize.

Speaking about the 10-year sentence he received for “defending” the music legend, he said, “This is the man who ruined my life.”

Barrow said that in 1999, he was in New York as “an 18-year-old kid who wanted to do nothing more than make his mom and Belize proud and … be recognized for his talent and take over the world.” However, he became the “fall guy” for Diddy, he said, when Diddy opened fire on the roof of a midtown dance club, wounding three people. Diddy was there with Jennifer Lopez, who was his girlfriend at the time.

‘We must not ignore the cold, hard facts’

Diddy later claimed he fired in self-defense. Barrow was sentenced to prison — 10 years for shooting two passersby. “I was defending him, and he turned around and called witnesses to testify against me,” Barrow has now said. “We shouldn’t ignore the cold, hard facts.”

He said, “This is the person who ruined my life, but do I get any joy or satisfaction from what is happening to him?” “Absolutely not.”

Currently, Diddy is behind bars on sex-trafficking and racketeering charges.

Barrow was released and deported back to Belize in 2009. He is now the opposition leader in the Belize House of Representatives.

When asked if he knew anything about Diddy’s “freak offs,” in which he allegedly forced women to have sex with male prostitutes while he masturbated and recorded the sessions, Barrow reportedly said with a laugh, “Oh my god! I have nothing to do with Sean Combs’ personal life … everything was on a completely professional level.”
