Under existing laws, platforms should classify the material by age suitability, ensure age-gating for mature materials and follow laws on obscenity and child protection, including the PocSO Act, women’s abusive representation (prohibition) act and Indian Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

- Communal Comment Case (2020): During the Covid-19 lockdown, Azz was again arrested for making communal comments on Facebook, convicted of Muslims for various incidents. He was booked under IPC sections, including 153A and 505 (2), and detained.
- Drug Syndicate Connection (2021): The Bureau of Drug Control Bureau arrested him for the alleged link of the infamous Batata gang. Although only a small amount of Alprozole was found at his house, officials said that his arrest was based on a large connection to the drug network.
