From Jennifer Aniston’s baby food diet to Beyoncé’s master cleanse: The weirdest celebrity diets you must check out

Deepika Padukone recently cleared the myths related to her diet on Instagram. Deepika Padukone, who is facing constant criticism about her looks, recently cleared the myths related to her diet on Instagram. Kalki 2898 AD The actor boldly addressed the misconceptions in a candid post on Instagram. “There are a lot of misconceptions around the word ‘diet’. We often believe that ‘diet’ means starving, eating less and eating all the things we hate. ‘Diet’ actually means all the food and drink a person consumes. The word actually comes from the Greek word “diaita”, which means ‘way of life’,” he said.

Actors who follow weird diets

While Deepika has always been transparent about her balanced and regular diet, many other celebrities have previously endorsed unconventional eating habits that have worked for their bodies. Unusual for most fans and common people, here are some bizarre diets followed by celebrities.

non-vegetarian diet

The carnivore diet refers to a diet in which only animal products are eaten; you can consider it the exact opposite of veganism. The infamous podcast host Joe Rogan, among others, is a proponent of this peculiar diet and is known for sharing pictures of his carnivorous meals on Instagram. His diet includes ribeye steak for breakfast as well as fried slices of elk that he has hunted himself.

Although he does eat some fruits and vegetables, the traditional practitioner prefers to eat a whole bar of butter rather than a piece of fruit or chocolate. As for the benefits of the diet, it is claimed that following a strict carnivore diet helps with heart health, autoimmune problems, blood sugar control, and mood stability.

Celebrities like Heidi Montag also eat raw meat while following this diet. In an interview with People, she said, “I love eating sushi-style organs. It’s a great source of nutrients! I’ve felt so much better since I started this diet. I’ve felt so much more energy, clarity, increased libido, and overall improvement in chronic pain.” She also likes to eat raw bull-balls sometimes.

Mayer method

Karlie Kloss, Suki Waterhouse and Rebel Wilson (reportedly) have all promoted this diet at some point in their lives. This diet involves several steps that must be followed with extreme discipline. For example, each bite of food must be chewed 40 times without exception. Other rules include consuming a teaspoon of Epsom salts in the morning, cutting out caffeine, sugar and dairy products, and not snacking between meals or eating raw food after 4pm.

According to Business Insider, ‘The Mayr Method is a mix of good advice and pseudoscience nonsense.’ The program was developed by Franz Xavier Mayr in Austria in the early 20th century; its benefits include improved digestive health, and mindful eating habits aimed at weight loss.

Master Cleanse

The Master Cleanse One of those extreme diets that every dietitian warns you about, the master cleanse became popular after Beyoncé announced on The Oprah Show that it helped her lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks to prepare for her movie. Dreamgirls (2006). Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore also participated in the trend.

The Master Cleanse Diet is a liquid diet in which individuals consume a mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup, water, and cayenne pepper for 10 to 45 days. Proponents of this diet suggest that it helps detox the digestive system, but its popularity has waned due to its short-term weight loss effects. Once the diet ends, weight is often regained within a few weeks.

The Daniel Diet

At some point in his life, Chris Pratt followed something called the Daniel Diet. Rooted in religion, the 21-day diet is more of a partial fast that’s based on a story in the biblical apocalyptic book the Book of Daniel. Five verses in the book describe the diet as consisting of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and water, with a special focus on pulses.

Like other diets on this list, this diet is supposed to flush toxins out of your body, but it’s not recommended by experts because it’s quite restrictive and focuses more on giving up the sin of gluttony (by giving up on indulgent foods) than providing any real benefits to your health.

Clay diet

One more weird thing added to this list the fault in Our Stars In 2014, actress Shailene Woodley followed the clay diet. It mainly involved taking half a teaspoon of clay mixed with some water every morning.

“I’ve found that clay is very good for you because your body doesn’t absorb it, and it apparently provides a negative charge, so it binds to the negative isotopes. And, this is crazy: it also helps cleanse heavy metals from your body,” the actor said. He also revealed that he learned about this diet from an African taxi driver.

The origins of this diet are much more sinister than a simple weight loss plan or balancing metals in your body. Eating clay is common in underdeveloped or developing countries because zinc deficiency levels are very high in the population. Additionally, kaolin made from white clay is sold by chemists to treat problems such as diarrhea.

baby food

Another bizarre diet popularized by celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson is the Baby Food Diet. This gimmick was originally marketed as a sustainable way to cut calories and control partying, replacing one or two meals a day with a jar of 100-200 calorie baby food.

The meals for one day in this diet would be like this: 5 jars of baby food for breakfast, 5 jars for lunch, 2 jars for an afternoon snack, a regular adult dinner and 2 jars for an evening snack. It is rumored that Jennifer Aniston used this diet to lose 7 pounds in a week while filming the movie Just Go With It.

Unfortunately, it appears that these bizarre diets endorsed by celebrities blend elements of real nutrition with questionable science and extreme restrictions; each approach raises concerns among experts about sustainability, nutritional balance, and long-term health effects.

So, while celebrities may tout their benefits, these diets underscore the importance of consulting a healthcare professional or skipping them altogether in favor of a balanced, evidence-based approach to nutrition and health.
