New Delhi: Actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan on Tuesday publicly lost her cool when she pushed a man who was trying to take a selfie with her at the Constitution Club in Delhi.
Many clips of the incident are now roaming on social media. In the video, Bachchan can be pushed and said, “What are you doing? (What are you doing?) What is this?”
The actress from the actress was accompanied by fellow MPs and fellow MPs including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi. As soon as Bachchan shook the man, the Chaturvedi turned around to look around before walking towards the club.

Internet divided
Social media users had mixed reactions to the event. While some felt that the man should respect the confidentiality of the politician, others said that she could deny humility instead of pushing him.
A user asked, “Why is Jaya Bachchan always angry?”
Another comment, “When will our men learn basic consent?”
One third wrote, “When will men learn that you are only for votes and taxes, not to take selfies with celebrity? This is not the first time Jaya Bachchan has done so.”
A user defended him, saying, “This is not wrong at all. How can anyone click a selfie with a woman of any height without her permission? There is some understanding before promoting such incidents.”
In another joke, “Now I am honored for Mr. Bachchan.”
However, dozens of others called him “very egoistic”.
This is not the first time Jaya Bachchan made headlines for public outbreaks. She often sees media and papers giving a stern look. A few days ago, during a special debate on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, the Rajya Sabha MP asked the members of the Treasury Bench to disrupt him, “Either you speak, or I will speak.”
Even Priyanka Chaturvedi was seen scolding a minor scolding from the Samajwadi Party leader during the same session.
On the work front
Bachchan was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky and Rani’s Prem Kahani. She will allegedly be seen in the heart of the heart, not Khola Khola Na Darling, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Vamik Gabbi.
