Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025: Allu Arjun, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nag Ashwin and more honored

The winners of the inaugural edition of the traitor Telangana Film Awards were presented on Saturday (14 June) with trophies at a star-stamped ceremony in Hitex in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister of Telangana performed the event by a Revantha Reddy, which was also attended by State Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramark, Cinematography Minister Comatiarddi Venkat Reddy and Film Development Corporation President Dil Raju.

Suryakiran, president of Gaddar Foundation and son of traitors, and TGFDC MD S Harish were also present at the event. The chief guests presented a cash prize of 5 lakhs and a citation to the winners.

In the evening, Reddy and Vikramark introduced the Pedi Jayaraj Film Award (Indian Film Personality) to experienced director Mani Ratnam. Meanwhile, superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna received the NTR National Film Award, while director Sukumar received the BN Reddy Film Award. Kantha Rao Film Award was presented to actor Vijay Devarakonda, and film writer Yandamuri Virendranath was awarded the Raghupati Venkaiah Film Award.

Veteran actor and president of the jury M. Muralimohan and Jury members, including the jury head, experienced actor Jayasudha, were also reshuffled. TGFA designer, Ramvath Nagula Naik and film critic Ponam Ravichandra were also honored.

As a major attraction of the evening, Pushpa Star Allu Arjun received the best leading actor award from Chief Minister Reddy, which was for a thunder from the audience.

During this time, Kalki 2898 AD.Directed by Nag Ashwin, won the Best Feature Film Award. The second and third best feature was obtained by the Film Awards PotalDirected by Sahitya Mothkuri, and Lucky Basakhar, Directed by Venky Ataluri. Also took Best Director Award for Ashwin Kalki 2898 AD. While Nivetha Thomas was awarded the best lead actress for her role 35 Chinna Katha Kadu.

In particular, the Telangana government revolutionized the Telugu Film Awards this year in honor of the revolutionary Baladere Gaddar. Gaddar Telangana Film Awards first marked a function in the state to complete the film industry since its formation in 2014.
