Mammootty, who was last seen in TurboDirector Gautham is making his first film in Malayalam with Vasudev Menon. The launch event of the film took place in Kochi today.
Mammootty shared photos from the event on X and also confirmed that his production banner, Mammootty Kampani, will bankroll the as yet untitled project.
Gautham’s collaboration with Mammootty has been in the news for a long time and it is speculated that Nayanthara will play the lead role in the film. The cast and crew details of the new project have not been announced yet.
Gautham, who has acted in several Tamil films, has also acted in Malayalam films Trance, Lovingly yours Veda, Anuragam And Sesham Michael FatimaInterestingly, he is also a part of Mammootty’s upcoming film bazooka The film will be directed by Dino Dennis. He is the son of veteran screenwriter Kaloor Dennis, who has worked on several of Mammootty’s films.
