George Clooney teased Brad Pitt about his age while promoting his latest film Wolves at the Venice International Film Festival on Sunday, September 1. He made fun of his age during a press conference for the film. Clooney and Pitt are longtime friends and have worked together on several projects. So it’s natural that the former pulled his leg in front of the press.

George Clooney mocks Brad Pitt’s age
When Pitt, 60, said he likes working with people he respects, Clooney responded to his statement, saying, “He’s 74, and he’s very lucky to be still working at that age, quite honestly.”
Jokes aside, he also said that both he and Pitt are “grateful and lucky to have the jobs and careers they have,” especially after the Ticket to Paradise alum declined to take on any major roles in past years, as reported by Page Six. Clooney and Pitt’s friendship dates back to the 2000s when they were first cast together for Ocean’s Eleven.
At the film festival, the Fight Club actor also debuted his girlfriend of two years, Ines de Ramon, on the red carpet for the premiere of his new film. The couple posed for photos with Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney on the red carpet. According to Variety, the two actors danced and hugged inside the theater, while they received a four-minute standing ovation for Wolves.
Last night, the actors were spotted boarding a boat taxi with their respective partners to enjoy a double date dinner at Clooney’s favorite eatery, Ristorante da Evo. Pitt and Ramon appeared affectionate towards each other as they stayed close to each other throughout the night admiring the natural beauty around them.

Special preparations for Pitt and Jolie at the film festival
Before the festival, the organisers had made special arrangements for Pitt and Angelina Jolie to ensure that the former couple did not bump into each other throughout the festival. Jolie went back after completing the film formalities, Pitt arrived at the venue on the same day. The couple decided to separate in 2016 after being married for two years and together for 12 years.
The couple have six children and are embroiled in a legal battle over their shared French winery.
