George stars in the film alongside Brad Pitt as criminal “cleanup” experts who unwittingly fall into the same task, disposing of a body in a hotel room.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney reportedly received $35 million each for their roles in the film and demanded that it be released in theaters.

George denied claims that his fee was $35 million, and said the actual amount was “several million less” than that figure, the Daily Mail reported.

Describing the entire affair as a “bummer”, he added, “We loved it, we wanted it, and Brad and I gave back some of our salaries to do it. We had some bumps in the road, and that happens.”

However, its producer Apple changed its mind and the film, which experts believe cost a total of $200 million, will now be shown in theaters in the United States for just one week.

It is being called the most expensive TV movie ever made as it will be available for streaming in multiple territories.
