Golden Globes 2025: We imagine everything as light Director Payal Kapadia lights up the red carpet and how

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards officially kicked off the 2025 awards season. Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia’s film We imagine everything as light Attracted global attention. The film received nominations in two major categories: Best Director and Best Motion Picture in a Non-English Language.

On the red carpet, Kapadia looked gorgeous in a customized black dress, with her hair styled in a messy bun.

For India, the evening was especially significant as Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light gained recognition on the global stage with its Golden Globe nomination. Kapadia competes against other celebrated filmmakers like Jacques Audiard (Emilia Pérez), Sean Baker (Anora) and Edward Berger (Conclave) for Best Director.

The film is also competing for the award for Best Motion Picture in a Non-English Language, where it faces competition from other highly awarded films such as Emilia Pérez, The Girl with the Needle, I’m Still Here and The Seed of the Sacred. Have to do it. Fig.

The Golden Globes, held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, brought together A-list celebrities from both film and television. The ceremony was a star-studded occasion, attended by luminaries such as Meryl Streep, Jane Fonda and Carol Burnett.
