Demi Moore wins Best Actress (Musical/Comedy) Substance At the 82nd Golden Globes held on January 5. This is Demi Moore’s first solo acting award in 45 years. The 90s actress received a thunderous applause from the audience for her emotional and passionate speech. From being called the “popcorn actress” to living her proudest moment, Demi Moore opened up about her long journey in a two-minute speech.
She began her speech with the words, “Oh wow. I really wasn’t expecting this. I’m just in shock. I’ve been doing this for a long time, like over 45 years and this is the first time That I’ve ever won anything as an actor, I’m very humbled and grateful.’
Demi Moore remembers how a producer called her a popcorn actress 20 years ago, which inspired her on her journey as an actor. “At that time, I had put it out that this was not something I was allowed to do, that I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but I couldn’t be accepted. And I bought it in , and I believed it, and it destroyed me over time to such an extent that I thought a few years ago that maybe this was it, maybe I was perfect, maybe I’d done what I was supposed to do,” he recalled. ,
Sharing the moment that changed the direction of her career, Demi Moore said, “And when I was at a rock bottom, this magical, bold, courageous, offbeat, absolutely no-nonsense script came across my desk. Matter and the universe tell me that your work is not done.”
She added, “I just want to tell you about one thing that I think this movie provides in those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough or pretty enough or thin enough or Are successful, or fundamentally not good enough.” ,

Demi Moore previously won a Robert Altman Award in 2012 as part of the group Margin Call. However, this is his first individual award. She was previously nominated for Golden Globes in 1991 for Ghost and in 1997 for If These Walls Could Talk, Entertainment Weekly reports.
In her review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote of The Substance, “Demi Moore plays Elizabeth as a woman who walks through a vertical trap door into a surreal, underground universe, Where the more she tries to gain control over her life, the further she descends into a abyss.”
