Filmmaker Grant Sputore will work on the next film in Hollywood studio Legendary’s hit MonsterVerse franchise.

Sputor, best known for the 2019 sci-fi hit I am a motherstarring Hilary Swank, will direct the project, which comes from a screenplay by the author Shang-Chi According to author Dave Callaham The Hollywood Reporter,
Sputore’s appointment follows the exit of Adam Wingard, who directed the previous two installments of the franchise – godzilla vs kong (2021) and Godzilla x Kong: New Empire (2024) – which proved to be a huge hit at the global box office.
Legendary’s MonsterVerse franchise began in 2014 godzillaafter which Kong: Skull Island In 2017 and more Godzilla: King of the Monsters In 2019.

Godzilla x Kong: New Empire It saw Godzilla and Kong teaming up to stop a tyrannical leader and his ice-breathing monster from invading the Earth’s surface.
