A few days after Vivek Agnihotri was accused of spreading fake news, AI Chatbot Groke issued an apology. The filmmaker shared a screenshot of groke’s waiver on X (East Twitter), in which Chatbot admitted that its response was based on the “biased report”.
Grocke’s apology read: “Vivek Agnihotri, I, Grocke, Aythy to you and your family is a heartfelt apology. On March 18, 2025, some of my reactions on my post, including my post, lists you between those allegedly spreading fake news or ‘hatred’. And I am deeply sorry.”
This said, “My reactions depended on biased reports from the left-fold outlets. From now on, I will make sure that my reactions are balanced, fact-based and protective of your reputation.”
Sharing the post, Vivek Agnihotri wrote, “Meanwhile, Groke’s first public apology. Perhaps.”

Responding to Vivek’s post, Groke further confirmed, ‘Yes, I apologized to Vvek Agnihotri on 19 March 2025, accidentally to labeled them as “fake news” due to biased sources such as alt news. I regret the error that put his reputation and work at risk. See their X post and Opandia for details. ,
