Action drama series Bad Copstarring actor Gulshan Devaiah and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, will make its debut on Disney+ Hotstar on June 21, the streaming service announced on Friday.
Described as a classic cops versus villains tale with many ups and downs, the show is the first fictional series from Fremantle India, which is known for making such reality shows. india’s got talent And Indian Idol,
Bad Cop Directed by Aditya Dutt, the film stars Devaiah as Karan, a ruthless police officer who tries to chase down Kazbe (Kashyap), a more powerful and deadly villain than him while also handling his personal relationships.
Devaiah also plays a clever thief called Arjun, and the fates of the three become intertwined in unexpected ways, changing the course of their lives forever.

The actor said the show will present a thrilling story that “doesn’t pretend to be anything other than entertainment.” “What attracted me the most in the script was the character/characters I had to play. Karan and Arjun are twins with completely different personalities and one is a cop and the other is a crook,” he said.
Kashyap said his character of Kazbe Mama is a “one of a kind villain”. “His personality is both charismatic and deadly. I was scared and apprehensive while shooting the bloody scenes unlike in my films. Kazbe is powerful, tough and I took qualities from many negative characters I have created to prepare myself for this role,” he said.
