Mumbai: Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga Kapoor, who is all set for her upcoming film “Kill”, says actor Raghav Juyal’s character in the film is a mix of humour as well as horror.
Raghav plays a villain in ‘Kill’ and was selected from over 100 auditionees. Talking about Raghav, Guneet said: “Raghav’s portrayal perfectly captures the essence of his character, which is a mix of humour as well as horror. His performance will definitely bring back memories of the iconic Joker, but in a unique way that is completely his own.”
Guneet said the team held extensive auditions and met and tested over 100 people. Raghav was the one who stood out from the group. “We needed someone who could bring a unique blend of menace and humour, a character that could enthrall and terrify the audience at the same time.
Raghav Juyal’s audition was exceptional; he not only captured the complexity of the character but also brought his own flavour to it. He is the perfect choice for this role in ‘Kill’ and we are looking forward to the audience seeing his performance.”
Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film is co-produced by Sikhya Entertainment and Dharma Productions and will release on July 5.
