Singer-songwriter Guru Randhawa and singer-actress Shehnaaz Gill have been in the headlines for over a year now due to their alleged relationship, and it looks like Randhawa is enjoying all the speculations about his personal life and the attention coming his way for whatever reason.

“I love it when people talk about my dating life,” the singer joked, adding, “Fans connect me with beautiful girls from all over the world, so it feels great, every guy wants that attention.”
It all started last year when they released their first music video, a romantic track titled Moonrise, which fuelled dating rumours. Later that year, Randhawa accompanied Gill to the screening of his film Thank You For Coming, and they posed together on the red carpet, further fuelling the rumours. In January this year, their second single, titled Sunrise, was released and fans couldn’t stop themselves from speculating further. And not to forget, their passionate reels on Instagram often leave fans wondering what’s cooking between the two.
Though Randhawa is in no mood to confirm or deny the rumours about him and Gill, he says, “I want people to keep doing this [talk about my love life] For me. Even though I’m not dating anyone right now, because of that news, I might start dating someday soon. If readers [of this interview] If the reader is a girl, I am single. But if the reader is a boy, I am with him (laughs).”
Apart from his personal life, Randhawa seems more content with his work and the buzz it creates. The singer recently made his acting debut with the film Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye opposite Saiee Manjrekar. Though the film received an average response, Randhawa calls it a wonderful experience.
“Every person should discover themselves every minute, every second. I have shot for two more films which will release this year. I have also shot my music videos, so I am trying to balance both,” said the 32-year-old actor, who also released his latest Punjabi single “In Love with Raja Kumari”.

Elaborating on how different it is for an artiste to shoot a film compared to a music video, he says, “Whether it’s a song or a film, it’s the same for an artiste. Also, it takes only two days to make a song, in fact, we can make a song anytime. Films take a lot of time, so we need to have that kind of time with us. It’s not difficult to manage.”
Randhawa says that it also depends a lot on the team and people you are working with for a song or a film. Talking about his single, Randhawa praises his co-star Raja Kumari. He said, “She is very different from anyone I have worked with so far. She also sang in Punjabi for the first time, it was very new for all of us and her energy is amazing.”
