January 16: From being a self-proclaimed fan Hades, Actress Tillotama Shome, who now plays one of the lead characters in Season 2, says she never thought she would be a part of the critically acclaimed series.

Tillotama told PTI, “I am a huge fan of the show. The grammar of the show was unique because of the storytelling and the kind of male characters portrayed on screen. I had never even imagined in my imagination that someone There will be season two and I will be a part of it.”
The actress said that she was such a fan of the show that when she received the script, she spent hours reading it.
She said, “I remember what I felt, and then we shot for season two, and I met this incredible team. It was amazing.”
She also said that, after completing the show, she asked Sudeep Sharma to send her the script of season one, as she was curious and wanted to read it.

“She (Barua) is a woman in a man’s world. She knows all about it and she’s frustrated by it, but she knows what the most effective way to deal with it is to get the job done. I love that whole line from Meghna, like knowing that men will react that way, and that’s what’s in the writing.
Tilottama further added, “The win for me was the portrayal of women in season two. It’s not just Meghna Barua’s character, there are other characters too. You don’t get a chance to see women like this, without being stereotyped. Read, and it was great.”
Choudhary’s character played by Ahlawat has always been a favourite, Tilottama mentioned that none of his friends had met the actor but they all celebrated his success as his love for acting was reflected in the performance.
