The Road founder is believed to have waited until Justin’s mental health struggles were under control, prioritising both their well-being. The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, waited for almost six years to finally plan a family. Hailey is pregnant and the couple seems very happy, denying all the different theories and rumours that previously surrounded their paradise. But, a source revealed that the struggle was not easy.
Hailey ‘delayed’ having a baby because of Justin’s condition
Speaking to OK! magazine, an industry insider revealed that “he’s too clingy, whereas she’s always been more emotionally mature and able to see things in a clearer way,” The couple’s different personalities and their decision to marry so soon led to some turbulence in the middle years of their marriage. This difficult period fueled divorce rumours and increased media scrutiny, with cameras following their every move. “It was tough. Divorce seemed like the only way out for them.”

The source told the UK magazine that Hailey waited because she couldn’t handle the Baby singer’s mental health issues. Family planning was important to the model, and she wanted to make sure she “found stability first.” Although the pop star wanted children from the beginning of their relationship, she decided to put those plans on hold to focus on her career first.
Hailey and Justin are going through a tough time
Between growing divorce rumors, Hailey’s father calling for prayers, and the couple’s sad appearance outside a church, the last few months have been tough for the couple. What started out as fans clamored for Justin and Selena to get back together, their journey hit a rough patch when the pop star was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, forcing him to cancel his music tours. After keeping a low profile, the couple made a full announcement of their pregnancy and also renewed their wedding vows, marking the start of a new chapter in their lives.
“He stopped pressuring her and making her feel guilty, and that’s when things changed,” the insider continued. “She sought advice from her pastor and got some much-needed therapy.”

Following the announcement of their pregnancy, the couple was spotted hanging out, with the model proudly showing off her baby bump. According to TMZ, Hailey is already in her second trimester, with reports also suggesting that the couple knows the sex of their baby.
