Hansal Mehta reacts to producer Naga Vamsi’s claim that “Mumbai lost sleep” after Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2 Director Mehta, who earned Rs 80 crore in a single day, called out Naga Vamsi for his “arrogance”. He also mentioned the production of Naga Vamsi Lucky Bhaskar “Borrowed liberally” from the Scam series in his X post.
Hansal Mehta wrote on
He further added, “I brought it up because I’m glad that stories travel and that second language film succeeds in replicating what works for us. Everybody wins. No one is bigger than the other. It’s The story is destructive. Ego is even worse.”
He concluded with these words, “To all the haters coming at me on my TL – see you in 2025.” To keep an eye:

For context, Naga Vamsi appeared at the producers’ roundtable meeting by Galata Plus with Boney Kapoor. In the interview he said, “After this the whole of Mumbai did not sleep.” Pushpa 2 Earned more than ₹80 crore in a single day. Boney Kapoor said that the figures he was referring to were from the Hindi belt alone.
Hansal Mehta’s scam 1992 (2020), based on the life of Harshad Mehta, is brilliantly portrayed by Pratik Gandhi. scam 2003 (2023) was directed by Tushar Hiranandani. Hansal Mehta was the co-director of the series. It is based on the counterfeiting of stamp paper by Abdul Karim Telgi in the early 2000s. Gagan Dev Riyar played the lead role.
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 It emerged as the biggest blockbuster of the year 2024 as the film collected Rs 1500 crore globally. Surprisingly and significantly, the Hindi version of the film contributed Rs 775.50 crore to the total.
