Just when it seemed like the song had reached the pinnacle of its success, the rapper achieved a new milestone as his song surpassed Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us on Spotify.

The South Indian rapper’s success is no accident as his art showcases his unique style. His track surpassed Kendrick in the Global Top 50 on Spotify. The music streaming platform recognised his global influence as it featured Hanumankind on the cover of the Global Hip Hop playlist. The move not only highlighted Big Dawgs’ growing streaming numbers but also established Hanumankind’s original name Sooraj Cherukat as a major player in the international hip-hop arena.
Released on July 9, the track is directed by Bejoy Shetty and has not only garnered success and numbers but has also started a cultural conversation leaving a deep impact on people. Big Dogs is currently ranked 11th on the Spotify Global Top 50 chart, still ahead of Not Like Us which the rapper wrote as a diss track for Drake. It has also placed itself ahead of Eminem’s Houdini. The song along with Kalam currently has 37 million streams and is at 57th position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
