New Delhi:
India-Pakistan border tension has sealed the fate of sequel My love I swear this on youA film that set a box-office record after its release in theaters a few months ago. After Operation Sindoor and Pakistani actors, Harshvardhan Rain refused to work with Pakistani actress Mavra Hocken at a sequel to Sanam Terry Kasam 2, while beating India for his retaliation. After his exit from the film, Mavra called it a “PR stunt”. Harshvardhan Rain, now, returned from the actress in an Instagram post.
Reacting to Mavra’s comments, Harshvardhan Rain wrote, “It seemed like an individual attack attempt. Fortunately, I have tolerance to ignore such efforts, but zero tolerance to any attack on my country’s dignity.”
Harshvardhan cited an example to establish his point, “An Indian farmer will remove unwanted weeds from his crop-it is called weeding. The farmer does not need a PR team for this Act, it is called Common Sense.”
He said, “I just offered to leave the post from Part 2. I am to choose not to work completely with individuals within my rights who label my country’s actions as ‘cowardice’.”
He said, “There is a lot of hatred in his speech, so many personal comments. I never mentioned his name or resorted to calling his names. Her dignity as a woman did not attack her dignity. I intend to maintain that standard,” he concluded.
After Harshvardhan Rain exiting, Mavra said, “PR strategy, someone hopes that I hope to get basic general knowledge, a PR has increased from deep sleep with a strategy … While our nation is in war, this is the same that comes with you? A PR statement is a pity to attract attention!”
Meanwhile, amidst demands to ban Pakistani artists, Mavra Hocken has been removed from the film, recently confirmed by the producers.
“Any kind of terrorism against any nation, state, or people should be dispropinently condemned. It is even more disappointing in this case, it is silent or worse, the statements of some actors who have worked in India have failed to get a lot of love, respect and opportunities, which have failed to condemn the terrorists against India.
