Mumbai: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s engagement came as a surprise to their fans as the couple never spoke about their relationship and there were only speculations about them being together. And now a new theory has emerged that the Daggubati family has severed their ties with the Akkinenis. The Daggubati family is Chay’s maternal uncle’s family and it has been observed that they have maintained a distance from Chay and the family ever since his engagement with Sobhita. It has been observed that none of the Daggubati members are following Sobhita on Instagram while Rana continues to follow Chay’s ex-wife and Bollywood diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

It is also reported that no member of the Daggubati family was present at the engagement. However, these are mere speculations. Another report claims that the family has denied the rumours and organised a small party to welcome Shobhita into the family.
