Taking to Instagram, Hina shared with her followers when she found out about breast cancer and how she started the journey by posing for the paps on the red carpet and receiving an award at an event the same night. This was the day that changed everything, it marked the beginning of one of the most challenging phases of my life. So let’s affirm something.
We become what we believe in and I have decided to take this challenge as an opportunity to re-invent myself. I have decided to keep the feeling of positivity as the first tool in my toolkit. I choose to normalize this experience for myself and I have consciously decided to manifest the outcome I want. For me..my work commitments matter. For me my inspiration, passion and art matter. I refuse to bow down. This award, which I received just before my first chemo, was not my motivation alone, in fact I joined this program to reassure myself that I am living up to the standard I have set for myself. Mind over matter. I attended the program and went straight to the hospital for my first chemo. I humbly urge everyone to also normalize the challenges in their lives first, then set goals for themselves
