New Delhi: The former Bigg Boss contestant shared an emotional video on social media, in which she captured the emotional moment where she said goodbye to her iconic ‘pixie’ hairstyle.
In the video, Hina Khan shared a heartwarming message, saying, “You can only win this if you embrace yourself, accept it and I choose to accept my battle scars because I believe if you embrace yourself you will be one step closer to your healing and I really want to heal and focus on that part and that aspect of my life.”
She said, “I don’t want to go through that phase where every time I put my hands in my hair, a lot of hair falls out. It’s very stressful and frustrating. I don’t want to go through that phase.”
Emphasising on the importance of mental health, she said, “I want to tell all of you that if your mental health is good then your physical health is 10 times better. So, to work on your physical health, you have to focus on your mental health.”
She further added, “I want to stay positive and happy and do everything possible so that at least I don’t have any mental stress in my journey.”
Showing off a trimmer look, she said, “I want to focus on my mental health and do all the things through which I can at least combat mental stress.”
The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor said, “All you people who are going through this tough time, especially women, I know how tough it is, it is very stressful, it is very painful, don’t put yourself into all this, end it before it starts falling apart.”
The ‘Hacked’ actor added, “Remember you are still you, nothing is going to change, in fact you are even more beautiful. Embrace this new version of yourself. Embrace this new truth, this new journey with every breath, every cell, every time, in every way possible.”
Hina said in the video, “I will wear a wig whenever required, but I will also keep this bald head of mine with pride.” Addressing her followers, she urged them to embrace their real selves even in adverse circumstances.
Hina Khan, widely recognised for her roles in popular television shows, has been transparent about her health journey, and has used her platform to raise awareness and offer solace to people facing similar challenges.
In her social media post along with the video, Hina wrote, “Pixie says ADIOS, it’s time to take it off! This is yet another attempt to normalise the most difficult phase of this journey, beauty-wise.”
