Mumbai: In a post shared by her on Instagram, the actress can be seen getting ready to shoot for her first work assignment after her diagnosis.
In an emotional post, Hina wrote, “My first work assignment after diagnosis..It’s challenging to follow through on what’s said, especially when faced with life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on the bad days; it’s okay… you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days are still important. Accept change, embrace difference and make it normal.”
She said, “I wait for the good days because I get to do what I love: work. I love my job. I live my dreams when I work and that is my biggest motivation. I want to keep working. Many people do regular jobs during their treatment without any problems and I am no different. I met some people in these months and believe me, it changed my perspective.”
Talking about her love for her work and how it is her source of motivation, Hina said, “For your information, I am undergoing treatment but I am not always in the hospital. So I would like to tell you all to keep work normal and if you have the strength and energy, then do what makes you happy.”
“And to all you beautiful people out there battling this disease, remember, this is your story; this is your life. You decide what to make of it. Don’t give up and find what you love to do. Your work, your passion – if you don’t know what it is, invent it. But remember to give yourself the treatment you deserve. Because doing what you love is also treatment,” she added.
Earlier this month, Hina had confirmed that she was suffering from stage 3 breast cancer.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Hina said, “Hello everyone, Addressing the recent rumour, I would like to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and all those who love and care about me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I would like to assure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger,” Hina wrote.
She added, “I ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes and helpful tips will mean so much to me on this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined and positive. By God’s grace, we are confident that I will overcome this challenge and make a full recovery. Please send your prayers, blessings and love.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor gained a lot of recognition for her role in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She is also known for her negative character Komolika in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.
Recently she appeared in Shinda Shinda No Papa and Ritam Srivastava directed comedy-drama series ‘Namakool’.
