Hina Khan shares photos of her breast cancer journey: “2025, please be kind”

Hina Khan has shared a photo dump on Instagram depicting memories made in 2024. The post includes highlights from her pilgrimage to Mecca, moments from her shoot, sunset on the beach with her boyfriend and a family vacation.

He also shared excerpts from his time in the hospital. Hina Khan was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in June last year.

In the caption, Hina wrote, ‘2024 photodump… a year which was equivalent to the experience of a lifetime. This year was full of setbacks, pain, tears, small joys, wounds, thousands of stitches, positivity, hope, faith, happiness. And lots of love. It taught me patience, endurance, discipline, determination and gratitude. I couldn’t possibly express it even in 500 pictures but somehow managed to display it in two pictures, the first of the two. “I’ll share a little bit next.”

Soon after, Hina Khan shared a second photo dump showing her battle with cancer, the constant support of her loved ones, her moments of resilience and the milestones marking her recovery journey. Wishing a kind 2025, he wrote in the caption, “Alhamdulillah. Gratitude. 2025 please be kind. Good health, good health, good health. Dua.”

Hina Khan’s industry colleagues and friends shared messages of love and support in the comments section. Producer Ekta Kapoor wrote, “Warrior queen.” Shraddha Arya said, “Love, prayers and strength… lots and lots more.” Sunita Rajwar said, “Amen.”

In an interview with PTI, Hina Khan talked about balancing her career with cancer treatment. The actress said she remained professionally active during her treatment to help “normalize” work while battling the disease.

She said, “I am still the same Hina. The old Hina was also courageous and strong and this Hina is also very strong and courageous and in fact, she has become very strong.” She said, ”I have been working throughout my journey. I made sure to normalize it (the cancer diagnosis) and feel normal. Since my chemotherapy started, I have been working, shooting, traveling and have even completed dubbing. I did my ramp walk… I completed my radiation session and came here (for the interview). If my body allows, I will (work).”

Talking about work front, Hina Khan was last seen in Gippy Grewal starrer Punjabi comedy film. Papa, not Shinda Shinda.
