As sometimes it happens, the movie Buffers after sharing a glimpse of a film on social media makes it feel that it can act as a spiiler for those who have not yet seen the film.
Released in the cinema hall on Friday, the project is a cinematic adaptation of the Hindu mythology of Prahlada, a dedicated follower of Prabhu Vishnu, who faces strict opposition from his atheist father, Hiranyakaship, blessed by Lord Brahma.
However, as the cruelty of Hiranyakship crosses all boundaries to get rid of his devotee son, Lord Vishnu comes as his fourth incarnation, Narasima in the defense of Prahlada.
In collaboration with Claim Productions, Homebell Films planned an ambitious animated franchise, which is expected to spread over a decade. The franchise will include ten divine incarnations of Lord Vishnu: Mahavatar Narasimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawakadhesh (2031), Mahawat Gokulanand (2033) Part 2 (2037).
Under the direction of Ashwin Kumar, “Mahavatar Narasimha” is jointly manufactured by Shilpa Dhawan, as well as under the claim production banner with Kushal Desai and Chaitanya Desai.
Speaking about the project, producer Vijay Kirgandur said, “We are actually proud to be associated with Mahavatar Narasimha. It is an animated film that is made with immense heart, faith, and we believe deeply in alignment with those values. We think it is an important story that needs to be told.
The filmmaker said, “We are very proud to bring out the story of Lord Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu through animation.
