A scene from ‘Munjya’
Horror comedy film ‘Munjya’ has earned Rs 55.75 crore in 10 days of its release, the makers announced this on Monday.
Maddock Films’ latest offering from the horror comedy world “Munjya” is the story of a mythical creature that has its roots in Marathi folklore.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, the film released on June 7. It stars Abhay Verma, Sharvari and Mona Singh.
According to a post shared by the production banner on X, by the ninth day of its release, “Munjya” had grossed Rs 47 crore at the domestic box office. With Rs 8.75 crore earned on the 10th day, the total collections rose to Rs 55.75 crore.
Maddock Films captioned the post, “Munjya scores a half century at the box office, and it was only possible because of your love! Watch the teaser of #Stree2 exclusively as #Munjya runs successfully in cinemas!”
Sathyaraj and Suhas Joshi also feature in the cast of the film.
