‘Housefull 5’, a clothing artists led by Akshay Kumar, continue their impressive box office run. Released on June 6, the fifth film in the popular franchise has already crossed the worldwide mark of Rs 200 crore and is getting close to Rs 150 crore in India.
According to the estimates of the trade tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected a net of about Rs 141.8 crore in India within nine days of its release.
Housefull 5 domestic earnings
Despite entering its second week, the film has maintained the interest of the audience. On its second Saturday alone, Housefull 5 estimated an estimated Rs 8.55 crore after Rs 6 crore on its second Friday. The first week closed with a strong Rs 127.25 crore in domestic income.
Over 16.39% on Saturday, more than 16.39%, and with a strong voting recorded during the afternoon and evening shows, the occupancy rates remain healthy. Interestingly, the film is watching high engagement in Chennai (29.67%) compared to traditional strongholds like Mumbai (18%) and Delhi (19%).

Built by Sajid Nadidwala under Nadidwala grandson Entertainment, ‘Housefull 5’ has marked a significant continuity of the comedy franchise that began in 2010. Started by a separate director with each installment, it is directed by the latest film Tarun Mansuhni. In particular, the film provides a unique turn -two different climaxs with different killers, depending on the theater where it is seen.
Akshay Kumar and Ritish Deshmukh appeared in all five films, while Abhishek Bachchan returned to the franchise after his appearance in ‘Housefull 3’. The installment also features Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez and Soundary Sharma.

Set riding on a cruise ship, ‘Housefull 5’ follows three men, each name Jolly, who becomes a major suspect in the murder of a billionaire. The film mixes humor with mystery and has a large accessory cast which includes Sanjay Dutt, Ferdin Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Moriya, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dhair, and Johnny Lever.
