New Delhi: Bollywood’s cute comedy franchise ‘Housefull’ is ready to break the new land with its fifth installment – and it is not just the laughter that fans have buzzed this time. ‘Housefull 5’ is causing waves before killing theaters by becoming India’s first film, not one, but two different ends. Yes, you read that right – each of ‘Housefull 5A’ and ‘Housefull 5B’ will have its own unique climax, which will give the audience an unprecedented reason for returning to theaters twice.
Cloth-powered comedy, known for the nature of chaotic humor and large-judgment, is stepping into an unwanted area with the mystery of a murder. “I have been thinking about this idea for the last 30 years – how to create a thriller with an X factor that has been talking to the audience for a long time after leaving the theater. So I came with a story where there would be a separate killer in every theater,” producer Sajid Nadiadwala explained.

‘Housefull 5’ twist
While most part of the film is the same in both versions, the final 15–20 minutes take a sharp turn in different directions. According to Star Akshay Kumar and Ritish Deshmukh, the audience can expect two completely different results, depending on which version they see. The idea is to offer fans with each screening to offer a new approach, doubling the entertainment value of the film effectively – and potentially, its box office earnings.
In the story, a major character is murdered, and six others emerge as suspects. Depending on that you choose Housefull 5A or 5B, the killer changes, which is rarely seen in Indian cinema, adding a compacted layer of suspense and replete value.
