New Delhi: Bollywood’s Mega Comedy Franchise Housefull returned with its fifth installment on June 6, and the Internet is already buzzing with initial reviews. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadidwala, Housefull 5 claims an unprecedented artists of 19 A-list actors-the first for any Hindi film.
The film stars Akshay Kumar, Ritish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Bajwa, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Ferdin Khan, Chitrangada Singh and Nana Patekar along with Akshar Kumar along with others. The plot is riding on a luxury cruise ship, where the mysterious death of a billionaire provokes a chaotic whodunate with a franchise’s signature slap.
Despite the mass discussion, the audience’s reactions on social media have been divided. Some saw the film as a laughing riot, while others criticized it for its chaotic story and recycled humor.
