World Theater Day has been celebrated internationally since 1962 on 27 March. Despite the vibrant Tamil theater scene in Chennai, the ceremonies here have generally less important. But this year, with the support of the Federation of City Sabkhas, Dharini Komal of Komal Theaters documented the history of the Tamil Theater at an event called ‘Therukuthu Mudhal Mudhal Thakla Nakam Varai’.
