Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld shared a funny behind-the-scenes story about when he had to evacuate the set of the iconic 1997 sci-fi comedy “for about 3 hours” due to Will Smith’s nuclear fart.

Speaking on the October 2 episode of the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast, Sonnenfeld revealed that Smith and his co-star Tommy Lee Jones were filming a scene inside a “hermetically sealed” chamber, which could be doubled internally.
