Taylor Swift helped concert-goers brave soaring temperatures in Switzerland.

Taylor Swift called in stadium staff to help heat-stricken concertgoers in Zurich, Switzerland. The pop sensation was performing All Too Well (a 10-minute version) at an open-roof stadium as part of her The Eras Tour. Taylor always takes care of fans during concerts and calls in help whenever needed. Temperatures in Switzerland reached 89 degrees in the afternoon, leading to hot and humid weather until the evening.

Taylor helped concert goers in the heat

Taylor was performing at Switzerland’s Stadium Letzigrund, where temperatures ranged between 80 and 70 degrees during the concert after temperatures peaked in the afternoon. The Look What You Made Me Do singer called out to staff to help the audience in the middle of her All Too Well performance. “We need some help right there,” she said, and a few seconds later she looked around another corner for help and asked, “Please help over there,” as reported by USA Today.

Staff members are stationed throughout the stadium and near the stage to keep track of the audience and hand out water bottles. However, the artists on stage certainly have a greater advantage in being able to see the audience and figure out who might need help. Tour concerts outside the US often have no set seating arrangement and fans stand for most of the concert, making them prone to getting sick.

Taylor praises fans’ efforts during high temperatures

Right before starting her set, Taylor praised the fans who came to the stadium despite the heat. “I’m looking at this crowd tonight and you decided to come out here in the heat, in the blazing sun and you’re still dancing like crazy. Instant bonus points,” the Lover singer said right before the hit.

The temperature in the stadium didn’t improve until after the first set of the day. Huge fans were set up throughout the stadium for the spectators and gold and silver reflective blankets were distributed to those in attendance to provide relief from the hot sun.
