The HYBE vs. ADOR feud has escalated to such an extent that the odds of winning, which were once dramatically in Bang Si Hyuk’s favor, are now at a 50-50 chance. A recent report suggests that ADOR’s CEO, Min Hee Jin, has reportedly won an injunction, blocking HYBE’s plan to remove him from his position by exercising his 80% shareholder rights during its next shareholder meeting. This court decision comes shortly after BTS’ label terminated the contracts of two employees who sided with Min Hee Jin in the case.
Min Hye Jin receives an injunction
On May 31, the same day that the K-pop agency was planning to hold a major shareholder meeting, Min Hee Jin scored a major victory as the court ruled in her favor, reports Sports Kyung Hyang. The decision means she will firmly retain her position at ADOR. Additionally, the ruling prevents HYBE, as the parent company, from exercising its substantial voting rights against Min Hee Jin. The agency had previously planned to change the entire management of its subsidiary that oversees Newsines, including forcibly removing Min Hee Jin from her CEO position and her close aides.

Min Hee Jin hits back at HYBE
Following her win, the 45-year-old singer released a shocking statement about firing two ADOR employees due to her current differences with Bang Si Hyuk. The K-pop business that is in charge of BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, and other famous artists previously made a major move, firing two ADOR executives and replacing them with three HYBE executives, which is reportedly in violation of a court order preventing them from exercising their right to vote during the shareholder meeting.
The 45-year-old lawyer said, “Since there is no basis for Min Hye Jin’s dismissal, there is also no basis for dismissing the two ADOR executives. Therefore, if HYBE dismisses them, it will mean that HYBE has ignored the court’s ruling and dismissed them without any reasonable cause.”
