Shah Rukh Khan scripted history as the first Indian actor to run on a red carpet in 2025. Shah Rukh Khan broadcast his “Raja” Vibes in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee dress for the incident. The moment he was talking to the fashion event was that the foreign media failed to recognize Shah Rukh Khan.
In a viral video, Shah Rukh Khan can be seen contacting a journalist after walking on a red carpet. The journalist asks him to introduce himself. Surprised, Shah Rukh Khan replied, “Hi, I am Shahrukh.” The person behind the camera then asks him to introduce his designer and the outfit for the night. He introduces Sabyasachi and shares inspiration behind the organization.

In another video, SRK is asked how to make history as the first Indian male Bollywood star to debut in Met Gala. To which, the actor humbly replied, “I don’t know about history, but I am nervous, I am excited, and Sabyasachi here …” He said, looking at the designer standing next to him, “He convinced me to come.” The actor admitted that he was ashamed to be there. The interviewers then praised Sabyasachi and joked about the blue-red carpet, asking if it made him no less nervous, which SRK replied, “I am absolutely fine.”

Sabyasachi Mukherjee gave Shah Rukh Khan’s look in an Instagram post.
It reads, “Shah Rukh Khan wears a floor length long coat with monogram, Japanese horn button in Tasmanian superfine wool. The coat is handed over by hand, single breasted with a peak collar and wide lapel. Bengal tiger supplemented with a tiger tiger, chronic cut and magnificent cut, chronic cuts and magnificent cuts were prepared.”
The theme of this year’s Met Gala is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
It is inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book Das to Fashion: Black Dandyism and The Style of Black Diasporic Identity.
This year’s Met Gala Dress Code is “sewn to you” – it is a reference to suits and menwear which is included in the exhibition.
It is the first Met Gala in more than two decades which especially focuses on Mainswear.
Gala Committee member Ashra said, “This year’s topic is not only on time,” but also talks to our rich culture which should always be widely celebrated. ,
Met says that the show “Aaj to Aaj Aaj Aaj Aaj Aaj Aaj Aaj presents a cultural and historical examination of black style through the lens of Dandiism”.
The event was co-headed by singer Paarel Williams, actor Coleman Domingo, F1 Champion Louis Hamilton, Rapper AP Rocky and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintor. Basketball legend Labron James served as an honorary co-chairman.
