In a decisive stretch of Idli kadaiMurugan, the hero of actor-director Dhanush, tried to fulfill his father’s time-educated idli recipe. He follows the routine similar to his father, uses the same material, and churning the grinding stone, but Idli is not just what is a generation of the residents of Shankarapuram. Although it can look quite straight within this setting, Dhanush is disappearing from some decisive nuances that feel inauspicious. The second half of the film looked like some flaws – such as a untouchable tone, with which Murugan’s mother provides him on the phone – renewes the meaning, and the story of the bow manage to justify the initial quotes in some way.
