Divine Pashurama special album containing pashuram From Nalayira Divya Prabandham, The song, composed by maestro Ilaiyaraaja, was released at the Krishna Gana Sabha here on Monday.
In an event organized by the Mercury Foundation, 4,000 verses were recited Nalayira Divya Prabandham, Written by 12 Alvars, eight pashuram were selected for the album.

“Everyone sings these verses, but Sri Ilaiyaraaja has added beautiful music to it and dedicated it to the world today. We are overwhelmed by his devotion, commitment, dedication and philanthropic attitude,” the saint said.
Tamil scholar D. Gyanasundaram, scholar U.V. Venkatesh also expressed their views on this occasion. During the program, Srinithi gave a spiritual discourse and Anita Guha’s Bharatanjali dance performance was also held.
