‘I’m gonna end my career’, Eminem teases new single ‘Houdini’ ahead of album release

Eminem has announced that the first single, “Houdini”, from his next album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)”, will be released this Friday, May 31, less than a month after announcing his album’s release.

In the Instagram post, the rapper FaceTimed magician David Blaine and asked for “help with something.” “I was wondering, how far can we take this magic? “Can we do a stunt or something?” Em asks Blaine, who drinks a glass of wine and then bites the rim. “Okay, for my last trick, I’m going to make my career disappear,” Em says, exiting the conversation.

What do MK fans say?

Eminem fans expressed their feelings through their comments on Eminem’s Instagram post, “Eminem can’t make his career disappear!”

One user wrote, “Yo Marshall, don’t retire, you heard me, don’t you dare…”

“I don’t know whether to be sad or excited,” another said. “Ayan loves all these “last conversations” 🥲”

Not much is known about Eminem’s 12th studio album, which he previously said would be released this summer. “Houdini” is the first offering fans have received so far, along with a small snippet of an instrumental playing at the end of the Instagram post.

Although Eminem has kept details of his next album, “The Death of Slim Shady,” under wraps, his longtime collaborator and mentor, Dr. Dre, dropped some tidbits earlier this year. In March, Dr. Dre appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and said Eminem was working on a new album. He also revealed he contributed to several songs on the project and planned to hear the album for the first time the day after his TV appearance.

Em unveiled “The Death of Slim Shady” in April via a Detroit Murder Files crime program teaser that aired during the NFL Draft. Earlier this month, he published a fake obituary in the Detroit Free Press to bid farewell to his other persona, Slim Shady.
