Jin says meeting the BTS Army was a priority after his service
Talking about BTS fans, Jin said, “When I left the military, I postponed everything so I could meet fans. I already told my family and friends, ‘I want to meet ARMY, so I would appreciate it if you don’t ask about throwing a party for my discharge until later this week.’ People told me, ‘You just came out – you should take a break. Let’s meet up.’ I came out on Wednesday and didn’t make any plans until after Sunday. Everything else can be done later. Meeting my fans is my top priority – I feel like I have to express my gratitude before doing anything else. There’s no doubt about that. It’s always been this way, so now everyone expects that. ARMY supports me, and they really make me happy. They’re incredibly important to me, so it makes sense that I want to spend my time with them first.”
Jin talks about his album
Jin also talked about the song Super Tuna during his first show after being discharged from the military recently. He said, “The song was already ready, so I just kept listening to it for the second verse. But you can really still tell how nervous I was. (laughs) Oh! And I’m working hard on my new album. Luckily, everyone finished making their albums before enlisting, and now Jimin’s album is coming out. This made me think that I shouldn’t wait too long to release my album, so I’m working to get it done as quickly as possible. It’ll also be nice to go on some variety shows.”
