Sardaar 2 box office son: Despite Ajay Devgan’s latest outing, Sardar 2’s son, Mrinal Thakur’s co-interaction, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, he has managed to maintain a stable performance at the box office. After a decent inauguration on Friday, the film saw a gradual growth over the weekend, although it declined to make a large splash. On Sunday, the film collected of 9.64 crores, to ₹ 25.15 crore to its total domestic earnings.
Box office travel and occupancy trends
Sardaar 2’s son opened Crore with 7.25 crores on Friday, followed by 13% on Saturday, earning ₹ 8.25 crore. On Sunday, the film saw another 16% jump, which increased to ₹ 25.15 crore for the first three days.
The film recorded a total of 34.90% of Hindi occupants on Sunday, with a highest polling of 51.58% during the evening show. In cities, Jaipur led 49%of occupants, followed by Lucknow (42.50%) and NCR (41.75%). Chennai recorded 37%, while Pune (35.25%) and Bengaluru (33.75%) reported medium legs.
Competition: Dhadak 2 and Siara
While releasing with Dhadak 2 of Karan Johar, Ajay Devgan’s comedy, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripipti Dimri, managed to rent a better commercially. While Dadhad 2 received its important reviews on caste and class discrimination, it collected a minor ₹ 11.50 crore in its initial weekend – less than half of the son of Sardar 2 earning.
Meanwhile, Mohit Suri’s Sera, the biggest surprise of the year, was postponed as one of the hits, continue to attract the audience in its second week. The film grossed 8 crores on Sunday, despite being marginally in his Sofomore week behind Sardar 2’s son.
Comparison with other comedy release
When compared with another large comedy release of 2025, Sardar 2 behind the son of the trails. Housefull 5 was in large -scale opening weekend, 87.5 crores, while Rajkummar Rao’s Lata Chuk Chukha Aa Maa Aadh earned of of 28 crores in his first three days – both performed better with Ajay Devgan starrer.
