-The flag should not be torn, it should be clean.
– The flag should not be lowered / one should not salute anyone.
– No other flag will be hoisted at the same level or higher than the Tricolour/National Flag. In addition, no flower garland or any other object or symbol made of it will be placed above the National Flag while hoisting the flag.
– The Tricolour will not be used for decoration in plates or in any other manner during any function or festival etc.
– The national flag (tricolour) cannot be placed face down on the ground or water (ground, floor). While hoisting the tricolour, they should not touch the flag.
– No other flag should be hoisted on the pole or pillar on which the Tricolour is hoisted.
– The national flag of the country (tricolour) shall not be used for any dress which is worn below the waist
