Independence Day 2025: Divya Dutta gave heartfelt greetings on the 79th celebration: Become a good and responsible citizen

Mumbai: As India celebrates its 79th Independence Day on Friday, actor Divya Dutta greeted her heartfelt greetings to the people of the nation and asked everyone to be a “responsible citizen”.

Talking to Annie, he said, “Sabse pehle aa sabko, Sab Bharat Vasiyun would like to make a lot of good maukas to the Swatantrata Dawas Kavas. The sacrifice of many people, with so many lives, we finally achieved freedom.

He said, “We cannot imagine these things, but this is all because we are an independent nation. Therefore, a very happy Independence Day. And let’s celebrate it not only on 15 August or 26 January, but every day, let’s become good and responsible citizens every day. Your flag should be done. You are doing this, so you are doing your Independence Day and every day.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the tricolor in the Red Fort, as the nation marked the celebration of the 79th Independence Day. Flying officer Rashika Sharma assisted the Prime Minister in hoisting the flag, after which two MI -17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force were showering flower petals – one national flag and the other was taking ‘Operation Sindoor’ flag.

Wing Commander Vinay Ponia and Wing Commander Aditya Jaiswal piloted the aircraft. PM Modi was obtained in Red Fort by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Moss Sanjay Seth and three services heads.

The Prime Minister received the honor of the ceremony by the National Flag Guard, Indian Air Force, Army, Navy and Delhi Police, with a total of 128 people. Wing Commander Arun Nagar led the Intercenaris Guard of Honor.

Before reaching the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Rajghat in the national capital and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi as the country marked its 79th Independence Day.

This year’s celebrations took the theme ‘Naya Bharat’ the theme by 2047, showing the government’s vision of attaining ‘Vikit Bharat’.
