New Delhi: Bollywood’s new bride Sonakshi Sinha turned muse for fashion designer Dolly J on Saturday evening when she walked for her collection at the FDCI India Couture Week 2024.
Sonakshi wore a pastel pink coloured blingy off-shoulder gown with noodle straps. The gown had a thigh-high slit, which enhanced her look even more.
Take a look at the post:
Talking about the outfit, the ‘Dabangg’ actress said: “It speaks for itself and because it is so flashy, we have kept it minimal. I am feeling extremely glamorous. And I think that is the beauty of when designers create outfits like this, it makes a woman feel good from the inside.” She added, “I think it is very glamorous, very pretty, very feminine and flowy, so I think an outfit like this should make a woman feel beautiful.”
For makeup, she opted for matte makeup – nude pink lips, pink and silver eyeshadow and blushed cheeks. Her long hair was kept open in a side partition and styled in soft waves. The outfit was completed with silver accessories – earrings and matching rings.
Sonakshi, who tied the knot with actor Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, also spoke about her wedding look. She said, “I did not put too much pressure on myself. I wanted to be a simple and extremely beautiful bride and this is going to be the trend in the coming times.”
Sonakshi said, “It took me five minutes to choose my outfit. It was very clear in my mind that I wanted to wear a red saree and I wanted to wear my mother’s saree and her jewellery to sign the papers, and I did that. So, it was all in my mind and we made it happen on the day.”
On the work front, she was last seen in the horror comedy ‘Kakuda’, which also featured Riteish Deshmukh, Saqib Saleem and Asif Khan in lead roles.
She also made a special appearance in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Sonakshi’s next film is ‘Nikita Roy and the Book of Darkness’.
